So anyways, on a slightly less hypeworthy note, MGMT recently released a really super zany music video for their song "Flash Delirium."

Even though M.I.A is totallie mainstr34m, since she trashes rich people and does zany things, all blogs are obliged to write about her to get mad hits. Recently, a NY Times writer wrote a scathing exposé about MIA making her seem like a total phony/crazy person. Among other things, Major Lazer bro Diplo claims she has zero talent and is using the whole terrorism gimmick to get coverage. In response, MIA tweeted the writer's phone number for her angry fans to call. Wonder if MIA knows she will never be able to top her pregnancy meme and is venting her frustration.

Do Bands Need To Update Their Website More Often?

I was browsing through the interweb today to find out the latest on this cool new band the Built To Spills. But I soon realized that the latest news on their site was from April 20, 2010. Flustered, I began frantically checking other band websites and in my panic I discovered that most of their news was all a week or more old. How can I like a band if I'm not perpetually submerged in their pool of news and rumors?

Should bands update their sites more often to remain relevant?

Am I out of the loop because I still check band websites and don't understand how to follow them on Twitter?

Is Built To Spill the greatest/only band in Idaho? Is Pawnee better than Idaho due to its superior 'Parks and Recreation' program?

Arctic Monkeys clearly don't care about their fanbase either because their last news post is from April 4, 2010. At first I was totally stoked since it said 08-04-10 because that would be the future, but then I remembered they're from Britainland.

Jamaican robot commando/bloghaüs DJ Major Lazer recently posted an instructional video telling listeners how to properly bro out while listening to his music. The dance is called daggering, which involves vigorous dry humping and is Jamaica's national sport. We all know and love The Arcade Fires, so much that we will excuse them for making this lil internet LP thing that took me two and a half minutes to figure out how to use right. This was a lovely 42 seconds or so of spinning my mouse 'round, but srsly. Damn. Felt this music in my soul, guys. The Arcaders make some really quality music but I would like to say that digital vinyl is never really the right move (via DJ Hero). The effing annoying/really quite good A. I was just listening to the new Sleigh Bells album Treats until this happened. At first I was pretty effing pissed because I used all my barmitzvah dough to buy these speakers.
